How to Draw Chibi Miku, Step by Step

December 15, 2010 in Chibis, Fashion, Video Game

Hey guys, one more lesson tonight before I leave to do my things in my life. Here are a few simple steps that will give you nice instructions on “how to draw chibi Miku Hatsune“, step by step. She’s the most cutest chibi that’s ever to be known in existence, which indeed will rub off on your hands. If you need more references of this cute girl, go to Google and type in “chibi Hatsune Miku” and you’ll see several results to use as a base reference for your own drawing. The steps to this lesson are pretty easy and I think the artist did a job well done. The artist of course is “Dawn” who does most of the chibi drawings on the site besides the other “Jedec” who is also very talented. If you want, you can head over to the website “DragoArt.com” to get tons of exclusive tutorials on “drawing chibis” in a step by step fashion. They’re literally the best drawing tutorial site in the world, with simplistic and easy to understand tutorials for people at any age. Well then, I think my time talking and typing here is pretty much done, let’s move onto the lesson to learn some epic stuff!

Step 1. Begin by drawing the basic guideline frame for the foundation of Miku Hatsune. You should take the time to draw the guides correctly as they serve the basis for your overlaying lines later on. Take your time! It’s crucially important to have patience as you draw.

Step 2. Then, it’s time to draw the basic frame for the head and body. It’s critically important to draw head first and work your way down to the less important details. Be sure to draw the figure first in order to draw the clothing correctly.

Step 3. Next, it’s time to draw the super cute pony tails that are seemingly huge! This is probably the most noticeable feature of chibi Miku, since the features stand out the most. Make sure you’ve got these features drawn on your paper accurately!

How to Draw Chibi Sora, Step by Step

April 25, 2010 in Chibis, Video Game

draw chibi sora drawingSo here I am again, with another adrenaline pumped tutorial. I’m pretty sure there’s lots of fans of the video game, “Kingdom Hearts”. Me and my friends used to play the game together at night all the time! It’s a video game mixed with Disney and random characters created by Tetsuya Nomura. The characters are pretty cool and remind me of the designs from “Final Fantasy 7″. Everyone knows who made the “Disney” characters, right? Walt Disney was their creator, and they are the most well known and familiar characters in the world. My favorite would have to be Donald Duck. Anyways, lets talk about the chibi Sora we will be drawing today! He’s in a world filled with “heartless”. Him and his two friends Riku and Kairi fight of the heartless who are controlled by Maleficent. Time to move onto the tutorial folks, I had enough talk here. Let’s go!

Step 1. Let’s start off by drawing the guidelines for Sora. Draw a large circle for the head, and the guidelines that will hold up the features of the face. Sketch out the lines and other shapes for the rest of the body. Once you’ve drawn all of this, move onwards to the next step.

Step 2. Next, draw the very hair of chibi Sora. When you draw his razor edged tips, draw the curves very slowly. This will ensure that you’re drawing the shape of the hair right.

Step 3. Here we will be sketching out the eyes and bangs for chibi Sora. Start with the eyes and mouth first, and then progress to the bangs. The reason I say this is because if you draw the hair first, the eyes will overlap the hair. Drawing the eyes will enable you to erase the hair tips that cover the eyes first.

How to Draw Chibi Master Chief, Step by Step

April 25, 2010 in Chibis, Video Game

draw chibi master chief drawingHow exciting was that last lesson? I had so much fun writing and showing you how to draw chib Yoda. Right now at this minute as I type, I want to submit another fun filled lesson on “how to draw chibi Master Chief step by step”. This character from Halo came out very nice. There’s a ton load of details in this chibi so it might be an intermediate tutorial for some beginners. A bit of advice would be to start off with the easiest part first and then draw the harder pieces. I recommend drawing top to bottom. Basically, draw the head first and sketch out the rest of the body. Sketch very slowly so you won’t overpower yourself. Has anyone played the Halo game? I remember my friend buying an Xbox 360 with one of the Halo games. I’m not totally sure which game it was he bought, but it looked really fun. There’s a lot of action and monsters. Imagine a chibi Halo fighting monsters with oversized weaponry? I would probably laugh so hard that my sides would tear. Anyways, I won’t keep you waiting, so let’s move on!

Step 1. Start with the basics, this is a very important part of the tutorial because of the complex designs on the chibi. Always start with the head and make sure you get those guidelines drawn out. This should be an easy task. The guidelines practically make this tutorial a whole lot easier. Don’t forget to sketch out the body’s guidelines. Moving on!

Step 2. This is where you’ll be able to sketch out more details for your chibi Master Chief. Beginning with the helmet shield is an ideal place to start because it’s so basic. Make sure you have a ruler near by, drawing the straight edges without a ruler will be a struggling task.

Step 3. Next, we will start sketching out more detailing in the head. This will include drawing the outside of the helmet. I think this is all there is in the helmet, so get moving onto the next step!
